Magnesium L-Threonate: The Form That Actually Gets Into Your Brain

When you think of magnesium, you probably think of leg cramps, better sleep, maybe a calmer mood. But here’s the catch: most magnesium pills never make it into your brain. They’re absorbed in your gut, travel through your body, and do important work in your muscles and blood vessels. Meanwhile, the blood-brain barrier keeps them out of your central nervous system entirely.

Cheaper supplements sometimes label it as “magnesium L-threonate” but use a different synthesis method, often with lower purity or different bioavailability.
